Which package to choose

I'm on opensuse and there are two packages for pandoc, ghc-pandoc and pandoc-cli. I understand the first option is written in Haskell. For someone just looking to convert documents in the most efficient way, which package is appropriate?

They are both in Haskell. I don't know opensuse, but I assume ghc-pandoc is the library and pandoc-cli is the executable. You want the latter.
