My guess is that you are either on iOS (QuickLook) or on Android but open in SceneViewer instead of WebXR. UI changes are only visible in WebXR mode, other viewers don't allow custom UI elements/changes in AR, they are as is. Try setting the ar-mode to WebXR and test on an Android device. |

I've been working on a AR viewer website. Every change I make to the model (like an annotation or integrating a UI element in AR) can be applied to the regular modelviewer but just disappear in the regular AR viewer.
I've tried using the examples at modelviewer.dev/examples/augmentedreality and modelviewer.dev/examples/annotations for troubleshooting but the same thing happens. Changes can be seen in the regular modelviewer but AR mode just lets you place the model. It started when I noticed that a CSS animation for a hand icon png under the id #ar-prompt wasn't showing at all despite being part of the sample code in the modelviewer.dev website. I know for a fact it's not my phones problem as I've tried opening AR from the examples section of modelviewer.dev and it works fine.
If anyone happens to know why that is or has had anything similar happen I would very much appreciate the feedback.
