ESP8266 Arduino (SDK NONOS)

I was exploring mongoose to run on an ESP8266 with the Arduino framework (that uses the NONOS SDK version if I'm not mistaken).
Mongoose integrates the ESP8266 using the FreeRTOS SDK version.

So to get this compiling/working I tried to create a custom TCP driver API in mongoose using the ESP8266 SDK calls.

I've attached the project files I created.
I'm connecting directly to the board via SoftAP.
I can connect to the board. But when try to open the page in the browser nothing happens and I get no response from the board.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm sorry, we won't check your code for errors.
The support we have for ESP8266 is the one we currently have, and that is not likely to change.

I did saw that documentation. But that assumes I compile code using the ESP FreeRTOS SDK, and not the NonOS SDK used by the ESP8266 Arduino Framework. Using MG_ARCH_ESP8266 results in several compilation errors (since FreeRTOS is not used).

That is why I was asking for help porting that to the NonOS SDK API...so I guess this is a no-go.
