Hi Terry, thanks for your interest in Aleph!
Aleph and its related software projects are mostly MIT licensed, with the exception of https://github.com/alephdata/ingest-file/ which has a AGPL-3.0 license. You are free to fork and make changes to these projects, but in order for us to merge them back in it would be helpful to have a discussion beforehand. Generally we are happy to merge community contributions of all kinds.
Nothing that you can't see from the respective LICENSE files in the respective repositories.
While Aleph is generally made with investigative journalism in mind we do have an open forum at https://aleph.discourse.group/ which you are welcome to join. We provide support on a best effort basis, but the community is quite active when it comes to solving Aleph-related problems. I hope this helps! See you on the forums! |

I would like to know the following:
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Terry Kelly.
